I'M NEW HERE!
WHAT TO EXPECT!

If you join us on Sundays at 9:00 am and we hope you will – here are a few words as to what you can expect.

We have recently returned to in-person Worship. Everyone is asked to please sign in when coming into the Narthex. Everyone is asked to wear a mask and masks are available to those who do not have one. Upon entering the Sanctuary the pews have been cordoned off very two rows to ensure safe distancing. You may sit at either end of the pews that are open. Families can sit together and we define families as those persons who live in the same household. There is an Offertory Box at the rear of the Sanctuary and folks may drop their weekly offering either upon entering or leaving following Worship.

WORSHIP
Our Sunday services follow the United Methodist pattern of hymns, prayers, Scripture readings and sermon. From Sunday to Sunday, you will hear a mix of the traditional hymns of our faith and more contemporary hymn selections.

HOW TO DRESS
You will see a mix of styles: some people in suits or dresses, and others wearing more casual clothing. Please dress with your personal comfort in mind.

HOLY COMMUNION
Holy Communion is typically celebrated on the first Sunday of each month. In keeping with United Methodist practices, all are welcome to participate. Children are also welcome to take part, at the discretion of the adults who accompany them. However, at the current time of COVID 19 safe practices, we are not celebrating Communion for the time being.

HOSPITALITY
During this time of COVID 19, we have suspended the time for fellowship and coffee hour. We are looking forward to when we will be able to gather once again.

SUNDAY SCHOOL
Sunday School classes for children are held each week during the school year. The children are dismissed from Worship following the reading of the Gospel to the Church School classroom. Everyone is welcome! Currently, as of June 2020 children's Sunday School is not being held due to coronavirus concerns. The children remain in their pew with their family and the Pastor delivers a children's message just for them.
